2005 :::

Ljubljana hosted the 2nd Ljubljana Gay Bowling Tournament on July 3, 2005. The tournament is for lesbians and gays, bisexuals and transgenders, recreational and professional sportsmen and sportswomen and also those who haven't yet held the bowling ball.

The 1st Ljubljana Gay Bowling Tournament took place on July 4 2004 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and was a part of the Pride (July 3).

At the 2nd LGBT an American-German-Slovenian team Group 300 won (Rob Hisey, Ron Suttora Jr, Robin Turk in Siegfried Freimuth), 2nd place went to team The Bears (Mitja , Viki , Bojan in Marko), and 3rd place to Star (Renato, Tomaž, Aleksandar, Špela).
Special Top Scorer prize at the common part of the tournament was won by Ron Suttora Jr, USA (226); and we have also awarded the best male player - Ron Suttora Jr, USA (with an average of 202.33), and best female player - Špela Sitar, SLO (with an average of 140.67).

The tournament is of an open type which means that both professional and amateur bowlers can participate.
